Wait, who are you?
Glad you asked! I'm Lauren Shilansky, and I am a senior finishing up my BFA in Musical Theatre at SUNY Fredonia! Originally from West Hartford, CT, my first experience in theatre was in my first grade play, where I shined as "The Stomach" in A Journey Through the Digestive System. And yes, I did want to play the role of "Pickle" really badly.
From legit golden age to mix belting to opera, I do it all! With my versatile instrument, strong musicianship, and incredible work ethic - I tackle projects head on and am always learning and growing as a performer, and a person.
I believe in finding the joy and humor in all aspects of performing, and never forget how lucky I am to do what I love.

Recently:
I just graduated from SUNY at Fredonia with my BFA in Musical Theatre in May and performed in the Commencement Eve Pops Concert "Broadway's Best: The Music of the Masters" to close out my time there!
Up Next:
I am spending my June with the American Gothic Performing Arts Festival in Ottumwa, Iowa. Up first I will be performing as "Gwendolyn Pigeon" in Neil Simon's The Odd Couple, and then I will be performing the role of "Marty" in Grease!
